Chelsea & Daniel Wedding at South Causey Inn

Chelsea and Daniel had the most amazing autumnal wedding at South Causey Inn last year. I knew Chelsea had actually done a little bit of wedding photography herself, so I knew my photography would need to be good to impress her! When I arrived at South Causey Inn, Chelsea and the girls were getting ready in a really cool American themed room. I took full advantage of this and used some of the cool props as backdrops. The girls were a right laugh and were all winding me up and saying how old I was (thanks ladies!). I then caught up with the lads and they were a right laugh too, winding each other up something rotten. I knew at that point this was going to be a fun wedding! 

Soon it was time to get married and I just love the lighting in the Durham Suite for wedding ceremonies. The sun was shining and there was some amazing little pockets of light, picking up Chelsea and Daniel, as well as the guests. Following the ceremony, we did a few couple shots in the ‘Secret Garden’ and I told them both to relax and we could go out for golden hour after the meal. This totally worked in our favour, as after the meal the lighting was just tremendous down by the lake side. I wanted to make use of the beautiful autumnal colours in the leaves and my favourite photos from the day are the ones with the sun shining through those lovely yellow and orange leaves. 

On to the party and Chelsea and Daniel had clearly been taking dancing lessons and had a pretty awesome ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ style routine planned. The dancefloor was packed straight after with everyone having a good time. I knew this wedding was going to be fun and I was right!! I caught up with Chelsea and Daniel just before Christmas to give them their finished wedding album, which they loved. Thanks for the amazing vintage camera light as a gift too guys, I absolutely love it!!!
